Med en høj specifikation og fine detaljer gennem hele køretøjet, vil de blive tilbudt i matchende triple pakker i BR Lined Maroon og BR 'Motorail' Blue/Grey, der dækker hele deres 25-årige karriere. Nær opmærksomhed på detaljerne betyder, at køretøjerne vil have enten det originale eller reviderede mønster af glasfiber taglys samt vakuumbremse/dampvarme og dual bremsede/dual varme køretøjer med Electric Train Heat (ETH) og luftbremseudstyr tilføjet til flere biltransportører mod slutningen af deres liv.
Fint detaljer inkluderer separat monterede håndbremsehjul, detaljer om endedøre, luftledninger, ætset tog færge fastgørelsesøjne, dampvarme, vakuumbremse og ETH udstyr. NEM koblinger og fjederpuffer er standardmonteret.
HISTORIE
Oprindeligt betegnet som TCV'er, blev køretøjerne senere NVV (vakuumbremsede) og NVX (dualbremsede) under BR's TOPS computersystem. Usædvanligt havde de en hydraulisk betjent central brønd, der kunne opbevare to biler samt fire biler på øverste dæk - en 50% stigning i kapacitet i forhold til mere konventionelle biltransportkøretøjer fra den tid.
Da TCV biltransporterne blev introduceret i begyndelsen af 1960'erne, blev de brugt mellem London, York og Edinburgh i sæt af fem eller seks køretøjer med et par BR kastanjebrun Mk1 vogne, trukket af tidligere LNER 'Pacifics' og senere BR grønne 'Deltics', klasse 40, 45, 46 eller 47. Fra slutningen af 1960'erne blev de malet i BR blå/grå og begyndte at bevæge sig længere væk på 'Motorail' tjenester fra London og det nordlige England til det vestlige England, trukket af klasse 45, 46, 47 og 'Westerns'. De var dog nært knyttet til East Coast Main Line gennem hele deres karriere.

OO Scale car transporter triple pack praised by customers for exceptional detail, quality weathering, and smooth running. "Gorgeously weathered and run extremely well" with free-rolling performance. Most found excellent value for price. Some noted weathering could be more refined and occasional derailment issues over pointwork due to heavy couplings. Overall highly recommended.
Nice model, well finished and presented.
Lovely looking models with subtle weathering that I think has been done very well. They run very freely - but suffer the same issues of derailing over pointwork as the Maroon set. I think the couplings are too heavily sprung which causes the issue. Confident there is a solution to be found.
A very nice set of coaches and look great behind a Deltic. I have had no running issues on my layout so would recommend them if you want something a little different.
These models of the car transporters are absolutely stunning. Very well executed with great attention to detail and the livery and weathering is spot on. The presentation box and information card are well thought out.
High quality, well detailed, free running, and nice and heavy, they look great on my new layout, 5 stars Heljan, I will be ordering more to make a full rake.
A beautiful three pack of Newton Chambers MotorRail NVVs in BR Blue livery and also in weathered condition. They are all finely detailed, the print is sharp and readable. The Blue and Grey painted livery is crisp and the weathering effect is nicely applied to the three car carriers. They are also very well weighted too, so there's a good chunk of metal inside them. I'll have to look out for any more weathered three packs in future releases to extend this pack into a longer rake. A full 10/10 to Accurajan (lol) in producing these wonderful vehicle carriers.

Beautifully made and nice solid bits of kit representing a prototype I never thought we’d see in RTR. Weathering a bit basic hence not 5 star - but to be fair I knew this when bought and will amend in time.

These are gorgeously weathered and run extremely well. The detailing is great and they are fairly solid units. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for something a little different.

As a member of The BUFFERS British Model Railway & Transport Group out of London, ON., Canada 🇨🇦 blessed with a modular touring exhibition layout.. it’s always smashing to be at a big show (or little show too for that matter 😹) being able to run rolling stock that really breaks away from the norm of what everyone else has.
Be it Plasser-Theurer rail maintenance, Royal Mail TPO’s, ReS PCV’s, Snowplough’s, Cargowaggon, “Silver Bullets”, Nuclear ☢️ Flasks, etc.
And without a doubt, these stellar Newton-Chambers car transporter models easily fall into this category as well.
This most recent ‘3 pack’ in the weathered ‘NVV’ variant puts my stable of them up to 9.
The out-of-the-box weathering is a great foundation to build from, allowing me to get in there with the Vallejo washes & powders, and Tamiya weathering master FX compacts for an even more bespoke look based on Paul Bartlett & Flickr images.
The price here once again, is impossible to beat at CDN$159.00 (w/o VAT), while some U.K. retailers are still listing them at £152.00+/- (w/o VAT).
They run superbly, have real “presence” about them running in a prototypical rake, & have t’riffic optional magnetic 🧲 close couplings included. The magnetically 🧲 secured roof is awesome for those of us who might want to get in there and add a working red tail lamp at some point.
