Produced between 1960 and 1962, The class 45 were built as a collaboration between British Railways' Derby Works and Crewe Works and were a stable part of mainline traction on the Midland Mainline right up to 1982 when they were used for secondary services after the introduction of the HSTs.

Its seriously good, Detail brilliant, Running brilliant, Sound Fantastic! I drove it for for real in 1970s working for BR good days gone forever.
Arrived well packed with no damage. It may have the odd flaw but certainly looks like a class 45 to my eyes and for the money Paid I'm well pleased.
They are both wonderful
Lights are wired incorrectly, with the red lights on permanently and the white lights not working at one end. Otherwise all good.
Fantastic loco at a great price, loco looks great to me.
