A locomotive that meant a lot to me and I am very pleased to have a model of it. The locomotive pulls well and runs quietly. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I've added RNR to my fleet, always wanted that one, and it comes in 1962/63 mode, with original disc headcode and added yellow panel. Perfect.

A mega improvement on all that have gone before although the Bachmann model runs a close 2nd. Already modifying the coupling as I like as much pipework as is possible. I have compared it with my long in the tooth, unpowered mainline model, it was pretty good. Some subtle weathering will complete the model. As I have maroon and blue versions, the same will apply. The price is hard to beat for a DC/DCC ready model.
