クラス47はBR（ブリティッシュ・レイル）車両の中でも最も大量生産された機関車の一つです。これらの機関車は1962年から1968年にかけてBrush TractionとBritish Rail Crewe Worksによって設計・製造されました。西部地域全体で旅客サービスの牽引に使用され、現在でも特別列車として全国各地で運行されています。

Customers praised this OO scale DCC sound-fitted locomotive model for its exceptional detail, realistic sound, and excellent value. One noted "looks and sounds exactly as I remember." The model features detailed buffer beams, handrails, lighting, and runs smoothly. Minor feedback included guard whistle timing during shutdown and some accuracy debates.
A beautiful fully detailed model, including all the buffer beam detail. (Some of which needs removing to fit a coupler). The sound file produces a very realistic noise. Very pleased with it.
A good model, at a good price.
The Brush Type 4 or Class 47, is a personal favourite of mine.

Having had 00 gauge analogue model railways for many years, my interest has been rekindled
by digital control and sound. This locomotive is the first, hopefully of many, and I must say I am absolutely delighted with my purchase.
Having worked on class 75 locos many years ago, I believe it looks and sounds exactly as I remember along with an amazing array of detail.This is railway modeling for the 21st century. I look forward to seeing the new class 52.
I have bought more than 10 Class 47s over the years since my first Triang Hornby Silver Seal version [with the 'Fleischmann-like motor) and coarse wheels - one reason I bought this version was as a repalcement / reminder of that original. Lima,Vitrains,Railroad and earlier Heljan vesions in between. The EARLIER Heljan's problem, for me, was having bulb lighting when used continuously on dcc (as with some other makes), adding to the 'high' motor current. THIS model demonstrates the advances made since those earlier models - handrails, buffer beams, cabs, lighting built-in sound.
Running seems very good too, but so far only run around my test oval.
I also bought the plain green livery at the same time to 'counter' the later liveries of my other 47s.
Perhaps the next, expected, Accurascale improvement, will be to motorise the - now clearly visible - cooling fans and lack of cab crew

With all the negative comment by Heljan haters I was apprehensive to order. The process was efficient and the product arrived safely and well packed. IMHO I am delighted with the model. Looks the part, the sound is excellent, decoration excellent and runs superbly. My only small quibble is when you shut down the guards whistle blows at the end of the shut down sequence. At this pricing point it represents very good value for money.
Sounds and runs great
I am not a rivet counter, I like real & model trains! There are some reviews of this model that state it is not accurate in shape, however would I as a 72 year old ex train spotter (saw these in real life)! notice this? No is my answer!
I am extremally grateful to Accurascale for bringing this model into my price range. I have the Bachmann Deluxe model from a few years ago (Gift from my long suffering wife) and they are interesting together.
