Excellent loco, runs superbly, and the sound is great. However it did arrive with very minor damage but a new part arrived within 48 hours of reporting the damage. Customer service was quick to reply and solved the issue withing 30 minutes. Damaged part was an easy fix.
Lovely looking loco. Amazed at how slowly it will travel. This is excellent for a shunter. Excellent value for money.

This DMU is highly detailed, and apart from its outward appearance, I especially like the interior with the seats molded in two different colours. Another very important point is that it is competitively priced, which makes all the difference if you order from Germany.

I initially bought these as spares and to fit to other rolling stock, but have also found them to be to a better standard than those factory fitted to the Heljan Mk2s. Nearly all of my Mk2s wobble and I’ve found these to significantly improve the running qualities (the wheels and bearings are slightly different with shorter axles. Additionally, the plastic has a more matt finish which fits better with the rest of the Mk2 underframe and should provide a better key for paint and weathering products if needed. Can’t really go wrong at £25 for a pair.
A fantastic little model ... the colours are spot on and the quality of the printing is super. From the whole unboxing experience to running it in has been great.
I love the magnetic covers for both the decoder space and the cab .. extra detailing on these covers adds to the realism.
I added a 21-pin hornby sound decoder to test it and with the two built-in speakers and stay alive it just worked a treat.
Very happy customer and I even used my reward points to knock more than £30 off the price.
Good addition, will be purchasing more, very accurate representation of some very useful bogies
