Klass 122 - BR Grön - M55005 - TT-skala

It a lovely looking model with fantastic detail. I’ve only run it in on DC, until the 18 pin conversion lead arrives and I can fit an HM7000 decoder. With DC the locomotive makes a very loud buzzing at low revolutions, but it is much better at high revs. I hope this noise disappears when running with HM7000 via the digital power adapter lead. One of the female sockets to fit the standard TT couplings to the locomotive was missing, not a major problem as I can still pull coaches at the other end……unless the missing part is supplied! Other than these “teething” issues it’s a lovely model.

A lovely model. Running in it runs very well. Both at low speed and high speed. The onboard lighting is also very nice.

Exquisite model. The only drawbacks are a whine from the motor when starting (but the noise goes when model is under way) and its inability to crawl slowly. That said, I am more than happy with its overall performance, and very satisfied with the product. More like this, please!

A lovely model with very good detail and a nice weight to it. It will add to the local traffic on my layout of the late 60s early 70s. Very pleased with the purchase and look forward to more TT in the future.

A very well designed and detailed model. With lights, headlights on direction of travel with red lights displayed on rear, and when changing direction of travel the lights swap ends so the direction of travel has headlights and the rear has red lights. After running in the running becomes smoother and the engine/track noise sounds authentic as if the sound chip is fitted but it isnt yet. Buying another class 122 different variant. Brillian model and if Hornby did one it would be 50 - 60 pounds dearer.
Ive pre ordered the DEltic as its also 60 pounds cheaper than Hornby.

Thoroughly impressed.I was impressed by the quality and detail. After running in it is smooth. Slight noise on starting up but that maybe my controller.

Nicely detailed model with smooth running motor, however, interior lights failed to work. Connecting E24 decoder for DCC also proved a little awkward to fit, requiring removal of speaker. Functions not always responsive.
Generally happy.

I can only give a 3 star currently as I am still awaiting your HM7000 adapter cable, although I am aware there may be issues with this model as has been highlighted by others, there does seem to be an issue with the model at slow speeds, but it looks outstanding !!!!!

A beautiful model with lots of detail. Ran smoothly out of the box in both directions. Lights inside the carriage and front/back driving lights all look superb. Looking forward to receiving to Loksound decoder and running the train on my DCC layout.
