Fabulous model to my eye and it captures the look of a warship spot on its well detailed. They all run smoothly and quite straight out of the box and the finish is excellent on the four I purchased.

I honestly think this is a super model, the detail is extremely well captured. The painting is nicely done, maybe a little thick on the chassis . After all the criticism on social media, i do think is a good model

Excellent model from Heljan. Highly detailed and runs smooth and so quiet from the box. Heljan have definitely created a great model here and highly recommend buying one.
I was a bit hestiant at first about buying one of these locos, but I bit the bullet. I'm very glad that I did too. It's a superb runner and one of the smoothest locos I've ever had from Heljan. One or two possible minor errors in the window shape and perhaps the nose profile can be easily ignored when running the loco with a nice rake of BR mk1 coaches. The provision of a large speaker inside also gives temptation to anyone wanting to upgrade it to sound fitted if desired (loksound 5 on its way to me as I speak) 🤣.
