Class 47 är en av de mest massproducerade lokomotiven i BR-flottan. Dessa lokomotiv designades och byggdes mellan 1962 och 1968 av Brush Traction och British Rail Crewe Works. De användes över hela västra regionen för att dra passagerartåg och kan fortfarande ses köra upp och ner i landet med specialtjänster.

This OO scale locomotive delivers exceptional value with well-detailed design, directional lighting, interior lights, and DCC-ready capabilities. Customers praised its "smooth" running performance and ability to handle heavy loads on inclines. While some noted minor inaccuracies in proportions, most found these negligible, with one stating "it is good enough for me."
Despite the bad press for this locomotive, it runs really well, hauling power is very good and for the price is good value for money.

Excellent model shows the era off very well.
I could not resist getting this model at the price. Yes it is a compromise in some aspects for those wanting as much accuracy as possible but it is good enough for me.
My 4th purchase of one of these! Such great value & great performer, put 20 double boogie wagons behind this on a layout with 2% incline/decline and it handles it no problem at all! Highly recommend
Great loco at a great price
It's a really nicely detailed model especially at the price of £99.
Added another to the range after my first order. Value for money on a heavy loco, big motor and dual fly wheels. Love it. Livery is excellent also.

Really good loco
Great value for a detailed model including directional lights, interior lights and built in speakers should you wish to install a sound chip. The model comes with all details fitted apart from the ploughs and couplers which are in the box, i had to trim the detail parts to make the couplers fit but overall runs smoothly and is compatible with HM7000 chips which gives you a sound for a bargain.

Excellent model brought a couple
This well-detailed model carries the Transload Freight - Petroleum livery, is accurately named ('Tonnidae'), & includes Crewe Diesel Cheshire Cat plaque & lighting. Altogether an interesting snapshot, & widely useable on many layouts, particularly Era 8 around the North-East. Great value.

I don’t think that the perceived issues on the looks/front end are really unnecessarily
I was not going to buy a Heljan 47 as got many others from other manufacturers but at £100 on the Heljan site it was a steal. Most importantly for me its a good runner and it looks good. I heard that the ends are too tapered but having now got the Heljan 47 I don't find this particularly noticeable. For me it was a good buy and I'd recommend it.
For the price paid, you won't get this level of detail on a equivalent railroad loco.
