Another great model to go with my numerous other Heljan 47's and 26's.
Is a pity that you have to break all the buffer beam pipes off to fit the couplers but otherwise a fantastic model.
I had many years ago a DJH Kit in 4mm scale of one of these locomotive and I just had to have one in 7mm scale and when Heljan released this model I put it on my wish list, having received the model I am most please with my purchase.
As I model to Scale 7 I have had to regauge the model to 33mm gauge, not as easy as some models in the Heljan range but not impossible to accomplish and it can be done without disturbing the quartering of the axles if you are careful.
My model ran like the proverbial Swiss watch straight out of the box, fitting a DCC chip was very straight forward as was adding a crew the finish of the model is well executed and as mine was un-lettered left me with only the numbering to add.
So far the only tiny criticism I would offer is that the light shows through the plastic of the buffer beams when the marker lights are lit and is visible when the loco is under a bridge or tunnel, a couple of coats of red on the buffer beams will no doubt cure this minor gripe. All in all an excellent model and incredible value for money at the current price
A superb model I initially purchased the Dapol version of this model but sold it very shortly after purchase as proved to be a very disappointing model in several respects .
This on the other hand is an excellent model very smooth running on DC and DCC I also found it extremely quick and easy to convert to Scale 7 taking less than 30 minutes to accomplish this, the finish is on the model is extremely well done and the fitting of a Hornby HM7000 sound decoder was an absolute breeze, all said I am very impressed with this model.

Great Model, very well built sturdy model. A fantastic weight to it. First 0 Gauge model I have ever owned. Great detail for the price inside and out, very clean slick model for sure. Fantastic little model, cannot wait to put her to work.
Absolutely awesome! Don’t listen to the naysayer trolls on the internet. Combines great looks with fantastic running performance. Grab one while you can. More detail than you can shake a stick at and delivered quickly too.
