This striking model recreates the unique appearance of 45055 Royal Corps of Transport as specially prepared by British Rail in 1982 to haul a Falklands War supply train. White tyres, yellow axlebox covers, silver buffers and bright red bufferbeams combined to create one of the most distinctive Class 45 liveries ever carried.
Presented in 1982 condition, the model features sealed-beam nose ends, air-brake equipment and plated bodyside details. Suitable for layouts from 1982 onwards, it can be paired with coaching stock, Speedlink freight trains and a wide range of BR-era traffic.
