Got this for a steal of a price as I won a 30% discount and so bundled it with an 'O' gauge loco. This 47 has great cab and lights detailing and functions .. I have added a 21-pin hornby sound decoder and it sounds great using the built-in speakers!

Sometimes Heljan get a little derided, but my experience has always been positive. This DMU is a great looker, great runner and as always boxed like it matters

I purchased one of these about a week ago and it's such a splendid little loco and the paintwork and presentation is outstanding, so I've just bought 2 more! If you have a small O gauge layout, these Ruston 88DS are perfect. I'm fast moving towards having 20 Heljan locos from all different Classes.
This is a brilliant little loco, runs smoothly and very quietly in both directions, typical of what we have become used to with Heljan models. I would strongly recommend this model.
